JMR Excavation LLC was formed in April of 2020 by husband and wife team Jared & Mattie Tracy. We believe that we are bringing high production and quality together by using the most up to date technology and skilled tradesmen. Safety is our top priority; we want our employees and clients to have confidence that we will deliver a high-quality finished product, safely and efficiently.  All employees are required to be OSHA certified and up to date with our safety program.

Mattie holds majority ownership of JMR Excavation. “Introduction to the field came for me in High School, I joined an Outdoor Power Equipment and Powersports Technology program. As a junior and senior, I competed in statewide competitions winning both first and second places. After High School, I studied Criminal Justice Police, graduating with honors I received an associated degree. When I was 19 my curiosity for homes began to flourish, I obtained my Real Estate Salesperson license which I still maintain today. With a combined passion for success; Jared’s expertise and field experience in excavation coupled with my knowledge for homes and sales JMR Excavation was born.” I am responsible for the day to day operations of the business including payroll, human resources, new equipment purchases, financial decisions and planning for the future of the company.

Jared is owner and partner of JMR Excavation. Jared has worked in the excavation field since he was a boy, gaining a vast wealth of knowledge from his grandfather & father. Prior to forming JMR Excavation Jared worked with his family’s excavation and construction company for 15 years. “During my time at my family’s company I gained respect and experience for the industry. I’ve working for multiple government agencies, commercial and residential clients. Working with my grandfather and father inspired me to own and operate my own business. I’ve always felt an immense passion for leading and achieving my own successes.” Jared is hands on and is responsible for making sure quality and production are being met. Jared oversees the crews along with project management and bidding. “I enjoy owning a business with my wife, she is smart, hardworking and fair. We need one another for balance, we both bring crucial skills to the table without each other we wouldn’t be as successful. We are building a business that we are proud of, that we can model for our daughters while providing services for our community.”
